While the contribution of low-income countries to the changing climate is insignificant, these same counties face the brunt of climate change which threatens their already imbalanced life.  Farmers are critical to avoiding starvation in the developing world, yet many must now content with delayed monsoons, erratic weather patterns and unprecedented soil erosion.

The 2030 SDCF is targeting farming communities in the remote hill and plains of The Himalayas with solutions based on scientific evidence and research.  The 2030 SDCF outreach program helps farmers cope with the change to support local food sustainability and security.
